Things to Do

Here at River Ridge Guest Ranch we offer a ton of great activities for you, your family and your friends to enjoy during your stay. Our guest ranch has full horse facilities (with plenty of room to pull your rig in and turn around), including a barn with pens, a round pen, and a 20-acre pasture. You can choose from our “Choose Your Adventure” packages here, or just explore this page which shows you just some of the Things to Do at RRGR:

Visit the petting zoo…we have a variety of chickens, bunnies, and dwarf goats.River Ridge BunnyGoat

Walk, run, ride or bike our 3/4 mile groomed trail through our open pasture.

Take a hay ride or tractor ride. A “can’t miss” opportunity for kids and kids at heart!

Enjoy some live authentic cowboy music.

The guest ranch is adjacent to the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area which is home to hundreds of species of birds, mammals, reptiles and butterflies.  Your cozy getaway is also near Ramsey Canyon Preserve (the hummingbird capital of the west), the old mining town of Bisbee, Sierra Vista ,and Tombstone, the “town too tough to die”.

Bring your own horses…we have a 20-acre pasture, a two-stall barn with two 20′ X 50′ attached pens, a round pen, and miles of riding trails along the San Pedro River.  Or take them into the nearby Huachuca Mountains, just 10 miles away. Plenty of room on the property for maneuvering any sized rig.

Relax in the jacuzzi, enjoy the view and watch the sun (or the moon) rise over the Mule Mountains and the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area.
